- The most recent report is clear and easy to read, and provides 2005 and 2006 data side by side to allow for quick comparisons.
- The report clearly identifies which companies provided data and which did not, including comparison with the 2005 report.
- Audit requirements are clearly indicated. SNIM and Woodside were the only companies asked for audited data, which they provided. The EITI committee should consider expanding audit requirements to all companies.
- The report disaggregates by sector, but not by individual commodity. The reporting templates are tailored to each sector.
- The recommendations offered are vague and there appears to be only limited effort to reconcile discrepancies (though the reconciler comments that differences were negligible).
