- The report demonstrates a sound approach to disagreggation. Readers can learn what individual companies pay for each revenue type (royalties, taxes, etc.), and which government agency receives the payments.
- With regard to mining, the report includes copper and cobalt which constitute only a portion of the DRC's rich and varied mineral sector.
- The report provides a materiality clause but it is vague Audit requirements should also be added, especially since the report indicates that companies are willing to provide audited data if required by law.
- The reconciliation of SOE payments is presented separately from the private company reconciliations. The report gives a clear sense of SOE flows and income in relation to the government receipts.
- The report mentions that the reconcilers received information on revenue streams that was not requested in the templates. This nevertheless could have been included.
